High Visibility Engagement Campaign

The Bath Village Police Department is proud to announce we will be participating in the “High Visibility Engagement Campaign”. During the campaign motorist will see an increase in police patrols and traffic enforcement in an effort to deter drunk driving and unlawful traffic behaviors. The High Visibility Enforcement Campaign is a muti-agency event to remind people to drive sober and stay safe through the holiday season.

The Village of Bath Police Department will be supporting the Finger Lakes SPCA this Holiday Season.  We are accepting donations in a bin inside 110 Liberty St., Bath, NY.  On January 4th we will fill the patrol truck and deliver it to the SPCA.  Please visit the Finger Lakes SPCA website and see their shelter wish list for 2021 and anything on the list will be accepted.  Thank you very helping all our furry friends!!

The Village of Bath has agreed to waive all late fees pertaining to parking tickets that are more than 5 years old, if paid in person at the police department before January 1st, 2022.  If you have lost the ticket, we can look it up if you have the license plate number.

The Village of Bath Police Department will be registering bicycles again for the first time in about 5 years.  The dates are Tuesday, October 26th and Tuesday November 2nd, from 3-6 Pm.  A dedicated dispatcher will be doing this.  We will have 2 more days in the Spring.  Please bring your bike with you so we can ensure the accuracy of the information and place the registration.  This record will assist the Police Department in returning your bicycle if recovered or stolen.

The Bath Police Department has seen a major increase in the theft of bicycles in the past year to support drug habits.  We will register bicycles by appointment in the future but if able please come to this event as appointments will be limited.
